Organization Structure Configuration

    An effective organizational structure is essential for defining reporting relationships, streamlining operations, and maintaining clarity across your workforce. This section guides you through configuring your organization’s hierarchy, ensuring it aligns with your company’s operational and legal framework.

    • To configure the organization structure from scratch, refer to Configure Organization Structure. You can also import the organization structure as detailed in Import Organization Structure.

    • For the existing structure layers, you can perform the following actions:

      • Edit – To edit a layer, locate the layer you want to edit, click the More actions button and then click Edit.

        NOTE

        The root layer cannot be edited.

      • Delete – To delete a layer, locate the layer you want to delete, click the More actions button and then click Delete.

        NOTE

        The root layer cannot be deleted.

      • Expand/Collapse – Click the Expand all or Collapse all button on the command bar to show or hide all nested levels of the organizational structure.

      • Switch view mode – Click the View button in the upper-right corner of the page to switch between tree view and table view. The page is set as tree view by default.
